Renter Reviews For Black River Flats
1. Terrible maintenance response time Our bathroom sink was unusable for a whole month, despite multiple calls and emails to the management. It's frustrating to pay rent and not have basic amenities available. We also experienced a gas smell multiple times before they finally fixed it. To top it off, our mailbox wasn't set up correctly and we didn't receive mail for 3 months. Overall, the management's response to these issues was very poor.
2. Unreliable and dishonest management BVW as a company is untrustworthy and lacks transparency. They accused us of violating the lease agreement and threatened to evict us without providing any evidence. Their construction crew also leaves trash everywhere, making the grounds unsightly. We expected better from a property management company and would not recommend them.
3. Incompetent and unreasonable property management We could hear every conversation from our neighbors due to the thin walls. Despite always picking up after our dog, we were accused of not doing so and were given a termination of tenancy letter. When we requested evidence, they refused to send it and asked for a picture of our dog. This level of incompetence and unreasonableness is unacceptable in a property management company.
