Here we have a cozy shotgun home in the heart of The Highlands within walking distance of several shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. The rooms are separated by sliding barn doors but we do not recommend "just friends" renters because tenants will need to walk through each bedroom (2) to reach the kitchen and bath. This home is geared more towards single professionals or couples. A washer and dryer are provided but tenants are free to bring their own if they prefer. The garage is for a single compact vehicle although there is ample street parking available. One of the most unique features to this area is a nice shaded backyard and deck for entertaining guests or for lounging after work and on the weekends. There is some work that needs to be done before the unit is ready (August 1st) and this includes replacing the bathroom floor as well as pouring new concrete for a section of sidewalk outside. Please note the concrete may take longer to finish, but this will not cause any undue inconvenience and we will get it taken care of as quickly as possible. Water, Electricity and Internet will be the responsibility of the tenant and there is a fairly strict screening process which includes a background check, credit check, and rental references. Any fees incurred during the application process will be taken out of the first month's rent once the lease is signed. Pets are allowed although there may be an extra deposit and/or monthly charge depending on the size and number of animals.
